Six Things I Learned This Week

There’s no solid agreement as to where the word “beagle” comes from. Some think it is derived from the Gaelic word “beag,” meaning “little,” while others think it comes from the French term for a hound’s hunting bark, which goes, “be’geule.”

Inktober Recap

I made it through Inktober. I did 31 drawings. A lot of them were extremely lazy or really poorly done, and if you look at the work some other artists did over the course of the month (“other artists,” she says, as if she could possibly count herself among their ranks), even my best work looks like chicken scratch.
